About

Built for the ticket industry.

Nine42 exists because ticket professionals deserve purpose-built software — not adapted tools, not workarounds.

The name

9:42 — the time that changed everything.

On January 9th, 2007, Steve Jobs walked onto a stage and unveiled the original iPhone. The clock read 9:42 — Apple always set their demo devices to that time, a nod to the moment they believed would change the world.

It did. Smartphones changed how tickets are sold, transferred, and scanned. Mobile ticketing, in-app purchases, digital transfers: none of it exists without that moment.

We named our company Nine42 as a reminder: one decisive moment can redefine an entire industry.

How we work

Software that feels inevitable once you use it.

Deep industry focus

We only build for the ticket industry. Every decision is informed by how ticket professionals actually work.

Speed matters

In ticketing, milliseconds matter. Our software is engineered to be fast, reliable, and ready when it counts.

Practical, not theoretical

We build what professionals ask for, test it in the field, and ship when it works.

Always improving

Every product gets better over time. We listen, iterate quickly, and treat v1 as the beginning.
